![]() The rating of every other show is dropping right now more or less. The only show which is better than the Blacklist is the non-scripted show The Voice. Therefore it’s the strongest show of NBC with 2 million more viewers than the second best Chicago Fire. The average viewers of the Blacklist are 9,9 million. The Blacklist has to compete with them and it’s perfectly reasonable for the show to have lesser viewers than during its Monday schedule. Grey’s Anatomy is strong as well for a long time now. Their season averages are over 16 million viewers. The Big Bang Theory is one of the strongest shows in America. The Blacklist airs on Thursday together with The Big Bang Theory, The Vampire Diaries, Bones, Grey’s Anatomy and one hour later with Scandal and Reign. But that’s not all, let’s see what we also have. Guys, it’s not as if the show is on the brink of being cancelled. NBC is very good at killing good shows with poor advertising and scheduling choices but in this case they’re being ‘helped’ out by ptbs who are so enamored of their own bad ideas they can’t see them going over like a lead balloon with the viewers, the fans the critics and the blog buzz media.Īnd honestly, if they really pull the trigger on the Tom redemption/ keen2 thing, I and can think of a number of longtime fans who won’t be back even for season 3… I think there’s legitimate reason to believe we’ll be getting a 3 season show, with maybe a fourth season (or half season) if third season picks up in quality a great deal. In addition, though TPTB state they’ve answered the Liz bio dad question time and again, it’s still an issue and that simple *final* answer could help revive the series.Īll of this is so valid. The Tom behind the ship’s door reveal was an utter failure, voiced by fans and critics, yet they continue with putting Tom front and center in a way that disregards his actions in S1. again for the promotion of a character, Tom, that is not the center story. The Blacklist TPTB also need to realize that they can never sacrifice continuity or the integrity of Liz, Red, Mr. Side note: The Blacklist is up against Scandal which features a romance between a strong and smartly written 35 year old female lead and 52 year old male lead (age difference, anyone?). In other words, low demo equals low revenue generated by the show. Scandal beat The Blacklist by 64% () this past week in the key demographic of 18-49 year olds which advertisers are after. The main fault in the decline is NBC’s incredibly misguided notion that The Blacklist could revive Thursday’s without a proper lead in (The Slap - the title alone should have been a clue), or follow (Allegiance - no star drawing power).Īnd to think The Blacklist could compete against the long standing success of Shonda Rhimes on ABC was shortsighted. The show is the network’s cash cow, and I think they’ll work to make the necessary schedule changes before the show returns this Fall. The falling ratings, the likelihood that James Spader is receiving multiple offers, the diminishing quality of the production, etc.ĭespite this, The Blacklist is still a good show, and is capable of being the best on network television, so I believe there can be a turn around in S3. Yes, I think there’s legitimate reason for concern. I want, I need to know the answers and the secrets and if I don't get it I'm gonna be so mad. Should I be concerned? I'm aware that a season 3 has been renewed by NBC, but I'm unsure about the future of Season 4 or 5 and I was expecting at least 7 Season. ![]() View original Ratings: Blacklist Rises for Fall Finale at TVGuide.“The Blacklist's rating is dropping gradually and it doesn't look like the rating is gonna pick up for a while (or in the future) or regain its glorious time anytime soon. #THE BLACKLIST RATINGS NBC MOVIE#NBC: The Voice 12.4 million (3.5) ĬW: A Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie 1.1 million (0.4) ĬBS: Mike & Molly8.6 million (2.4) Mom 7.6 million (2.1)ĪBC: CMA Country Christmas 7.4 million (1.5) CMA Country Christmas followed Charlie Brown with 7.4 million and a 1.5, up a tenth from last year's show.ĬBS: How I Met Your Mother7.9 million viewers (2.9 demo rating) 2 Broke Girls8.4 million (2.7)ĪBC: A Charlie Brown Christmas 7.9 million (1.9) ![]() On Fox, Almost Human (5.6 million, 1.7) fell two tenths and was beaten by ABC's broadcast of A Charlie Brown Christmas (7.9 million, 1.9).
